Max And Friends
West Highland Terrier – Westie Max
West Highland Terriers (Westies) are such lovely dogs. The breed originally from Scotland with a distinctive white harsh coat with a soft white undercoat are a medium-sized terrier, although with longer legs than other Scottish breeds of terrier. I have painted many of this breed, including lovely Max. Each have their own unique
character.
I decided to write this blog to tell Max’s story, my brother and his wife’s beloved Westie Max who passed away back in 2020. In honor of his memory his mummy started an online pet supply store based out of Sarasota Florida USA. The website is https://maxxandfriends.com
This is a story of his life. A very much loved dog and his memory lives on through their website Maxx and Friends.
Max’s Story
He was born in England and lived there until the age of seven. He was adventurous at heart like his mummy, he travelled a lot and went to so many places in Europe and even lived for a while in Cassino in Italy. He loved his English house and in particular his English Garden and was there all the time chasing squirrels and birds and anything else he could find to play with in his garden, and local field.
When he was nearly seven his parents decided to move to California, and oh boy as a sun worshipper they couldn’t have chosen a better place for him, than LA on the beach. Going to his favourite coffee shop where his mummy used to order him fresh chicken cooked just for him, was a daily treat, and often if he had been a good boy they would add some Egg and cheese, his favourite. He had the very best life and was looked after so well for the 14 almost 15 years he was alive.
He was treated with the very best coats or collars or blankets and love, something his Mummy is continuing to do through her website, Maxx and Friends. So that his paws can reach out to other dogs all over the world and they can experience a little of the joy and commitment and love and blessings that he used to get in his lifetime.
