Thank you so much for the wonderful picture of Mitzie that you created. Sharon and I were both bowled over by just how good it is and we will certainly ask you to do the other cats in the future. When we unwrapped it we just had to have it up on the wall straight away and it was quite emotional when Fritzie (who has Mitzie's colouring) started thinking that the portrait was a real cat! Mitzie is now looking down from the wall in our living room over us and it means a huge amount to both of us that we have such an excellent and accurate portrait of her to help remember her by. Dear Lorraine
I received your wonderful portrait of my little friend Chloe on Christmas day. I had asked my partner for a portrait of her for Christmas as I lost her on 13th August. She had been with me for 14 and a half years and had been my constant and very naughty companion! Your painting captured her perfectly and every time I look at it I am waiting for her little nose to twitch! I think about her every day and it is fantastic to have such a lovely piece of artwork to remember her by.

When Roz told me she was going to have a portrait of Teal commissioned as a present for me I was really pleased because, although I have literally hundreds of photos of Teal - all of which remind of the places we went and the things we did together - I wanted to have something really special which I could look at every day and feel that she was here with me still.
I know that you spoke to Teal as you were painting her and I think she would have liked that very much as she was such a friendly dog.
I have to tell you that you succeeded in capturing the essence of Teal SO well and, on Christmas Day, when I unwrapped the portrait (which took some courage as it was 6 months to the day since I had lost her), I realised that, thanks to your skill, I had acquired something which is now my most precious posession and a truely lovely reminder of my much loved dog, wonderful friend and faithful companion who I still miss.......Malcolm

In loving memory of Border Collie Tess - Dogs Gallery II |

Last night I had the pleasure of presenting my Dad and Step Mum with the
portrait you drew of our pet Border collie ‘Tess’ who unfortunately died at
the start of the year. It was incredibly well received, my step mum sobbed
her heart out and my Dad went very quiet for a minute, this is a very good
sign.
They both commented on how you had captured her likeness, mentioning details
like the fact one of her ears flops over at the top and that her head was
cocked to one side. The portrait has been given pride of place as the
central picture in the lounge so that everyone will see it when they come
round to visit.
Losing Tess left a massive hole in our lives, this was added to by the fact
we didn’t really have many good photos of her. So having this portrait has
not only brought her back into our lives but has also given us a fabulous
picture to remember her by.
Thank you very much this picture it will be treasured forever.

Zack - Cats Gallery |
Dear Lorraine,
The painting of Zack arrived safely on Saturday. When my husband brought it in the house I started to cry before we even had a chance to open it. When we lifted the cover we were both overwhelmed. There were no words spoken, just tears. Zack was part of our daily routine for 16 years and when he was gone there was such an emptiness in our lives. You have managed to capture his soul and give it back to us in your painting. Your talent is truly amazing. Heads and tails above all the other artists I considered.
Our other cat, Cleo who has an attention span of about a mili second actually stared at the painting for at least 10 seconds. I believe he thought it was his old friend back to pay a visit. We all thank you SO very much for this wonderful gift. I am very grateful to have found you all the way in England.

Hi Lorraine-I received Opie's painting today. I was overwhelmed. It is incredible and absolutely perfect...even better than the email picture, of course! I was so excited that I called my husband from work and asked him if he would mind celebrating his birthday 3 months early! I told him I had a surprise for him when I got home. I just could not wait the 3 months until his birthday to give it to him. (I showed it to many people at work who were equally impressed. In fact one of them demanded your website immediately as he wanted to have their dog painted for his wife)
I just got home from work and my husband was so impressed.He looked at it, paused and said "It's OPIE!" He really, truly loves it and said that "it is really her". You totally captured her essence. We are both thrilled and we are taking it to our daughter-in-law who owns a framing shop tomorrow (she is very experienced in fine art).
It is so wonderful to have such a beautiful painting of Opie to remember her by. She was my first dog and very special to both of us. She lived her 13 years with a great zest for life and continually entertained us with her antics. We still sit and tell "Opie" stories and laugh at the silly things she used to do.
You have made those memories even more vivid. We cannot thank you enough. Your talent is quite awesome.
